lyrics

The blooming of the reddest rose; it cannot compare, cannot impose, on this darkened den of thieves and ghosts. It will brighten when she comes back home. So I await, with baited breath, this love of mine, my final step; but on the reddest rose, I see the thorns, they remind me that she won't return.

Oh, how the sorrow sows, when the winter wind blows; in this garden grows, the reddest rose.

So they fall, all those petals proud. They fall with grace, upon the ground. When seasons pass, they will grow back, they will grow stronger; I am sure of that.

But, on the reddest rose, I seek the thorns. Just the thorns.
